Weaver's Stock Type Ws412 French Seamed Pullover Tail Shirt
Weaver’s Stock shirts are made using deadstock fabrics from British weaving mills, sewn in a small factory in the Midlands.
The Weaver’s Stock Long Sleeved Tail Shirt is a simplified version of the type 412 Pullover Tail Shirt, cut with curved front and back tails, and straight hemmed sleeves. The shirt is single-needle sewn with french seams.
English-woven upholstery calico is a fine unbleached plain-weave cloth woven as a first layer to hold feather cushion pads in place below a more decorative and hardwearing top cloth. It is smoother and softer than mainline calico, which is relatively heavy and more coarsely woven.
